Leading the Pivot | A Second Set of Eyes

Welcome to Wednesday! As you step into the natural pivot point of the week, here’s a brief moment of encouragement and perspective to help you lead the pivots in your life.

Leading the Pivot | A Second Set of Eyes

Practical wisdom for the pivots that shape us.

The Moment

Often it is not the workload that drains us.
It is the decisions.

A day where every choice feels like it matters, and we feel tired before we even start.

One after another. Small ones and heavy ones. The kind with consequences and ripple effects. When we hold them alone, the weight adds up.

Decision fatigue is not a weakness. It is what happens when too much sits in one set of hands.

The Pivot

One of the most underrated antidotes is perspective.

Not more effort. Not a perfect system. Just letting someone else into the decision space with us. At work, that can look like inviting a colleague or our team into a quick brainstorm. In life, it can look like naming the choice out loud to someone we trust.

Often the help is not a final answer. It is a question we did not think to ask. An angle we could not see from inside our own head. A reminder that we are not meant to carry every decision in a silo.

The Move

Before the next decision lands, consider who is already near you.

Whose perspective could help you choose with more clarity and less weight?

Cheering you on to your best life,
