The Moment

​There are spaces where we feel free to think differently.

And spaces where we don’t.

We bring one version of ourselves to the canvas, the kitchen, the garden. And a more contained version to the meeting, the difficult conversation, the problem that won’t move.

The creative mind does not disappear in those moments.

We just stop inviting it in.

The Pivot

​Creativity is not a personality type reserved for artists and designers.

It is a way of seeing. A willingness to look at what is in front of us and ask what else might be possible.

That capacity travels. Into the way we lead. The way we parent. The way we solve what feels unsolvable. The way we show up when the obvious path is closed.

What we practice in one room, we can carry into any room.

The creative mind is not a gift for certain moments. It is a resource for all of them.
