Leading the Pivot | The Why That Guides

Welcome to Wednesday! As you step into the natural pivot point of the week, here’s a brief moment of encouragement and perspective to help you lead the pivots in your life.

Leading the Pivot | The Why That Guides

Practical wisdom for the pivots that shape us.

The Moment

There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from misalignment.

Everyone is working hard, but toward different ends.

It looks productive from the outside. Meetings. Updates. Late nights. Progress. And then we reach the other side and realize we were building toward the wrong finish line. Not because people did not care, but because the priorities were not shared clearly enough for everyone to move in the same direction. That discovery can feel devastating.

The Pivot

This is where the why matters.

When the why does not accompany the what, each person fills it in. We bring our own north star, our own assumptions, our own version of what success should look like. Congruence is not control. It is shared purpose. When the what and the why stay connected, the work can move in sync.

The Move

Before the day gathers speed, pause and consider whether you know what everyone is aiming for.

Have you made the why clear enough that your team can move toward the same outcome?

Cheering you on to your best life,
